Course Description:
This course is designed to provide the current concepts and best available evidence for the relationship between structural factors and movement as they affect hip pain. The system is designed to identify the movement direction and alignment that most consistently cause pain and when corrected decreases or eliminates the symptoms. A key factor in hip conditions is restoring and maintaining the precision of motion. The muscular, motor control and biomechanical adaptations that contribute to the problem will be described. The impaired movement direction is used as the movement system diagnoses. The examination and treatment for Movement System Impairment Diagnoses of the hip joint will be demonstrated.

Upon completion of the course, the participant will be able to:
- Describe Movement System Impairment (MSI) diagnoses of the hip joint – femoral syndromes
- Discuss the best available evidence for hip syndromes
- Describe the exam to establish the diagnoses and identify the contributing factors.
- Discuss the treatment program for MSI femoral diagnoses
